Amal Clooney brings again basic glamour in classic Dior, and we’ve discovered an ideal high-street dupe

There seems to be no imminent finish to the strikes in Hollywood, and whereas it’s vital to face behind commerce unions, the distinct lack of purple carpet style has us craving some old-fashioned glamour.

Which is why our jaws hit the ground after we noticed Amal Clooney’s showstopping outfit as she accepted a serious honour on the DVF Awards in Venice.

The human rights barrister – no stranger to trendy moments worthy of our consideration together with her latest sheer, slingback kitten heels – was one in all 5 honourees on the 14th annual DVF Awards in Venice.

Amal wore a blush lace slip with an uneven hem and a drop-wait tulle skirt overlay from John Galliano’s fall 2000 assortment for Christian Dior.

She paired the costume with heat metallics, carrying a small bronze clutch and strappy gold heels.

Leaning into the old-world glamour, Amal sported a pair of pearl drop earrings that reached to simply above her shoulder, full with giant pear-shaped stones that complemented her outfit.
